Note: The length of time this Ostrich Metatarsus Bone will last your dog will depend on just how much of a power chewer he or she is!
We recommend that you do not leave your dog unattended whilst enjoying this product and would also suggest you do not let them chew on it for more than half-an-hour or so at a time (at least to begin with).
Unlike roasted bones, this product does not produce harmful splinters. Normally, you would expect it to crumble during chewing.
Occasionally a piece may splinter off, but these are perfectly safe for your dog to chew due to the nature of the bone.
Do not refrigerate or leave in a damp place. We also do not recommend that you stuff this product as this will shorten the life. Under normal chewing, this bone can last up to several months (depending on your dog).
